INSPIRING DAILY DEVOTIONAL ® …. You can live a worry-free life

Worry free456789

Text(s) for today: Read John 14: 27

“Let not (do not allow) your heart be troubled…” Jn. 14:1 KJV

Oh, the song writer was right!

Oh, what peace we often forfeit

Oh, what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

You can actually refuse to be troubled irrespective of your experiences in life. Yes! The scripture we just read corroborates the lyrics of this beautiful song.

The phrase, “let not (do not allow)…” makes us understand that when we crumple under the pressures of this life, it’s not really due to how adverse or harsh our situation (challenge, trouble, etc) is, but rather because we allowed it to dictate to us the kind of life we should have.

This means that living a worry-free life is absolutely a decision we make.

So how do I work this out? It’s simply: carry all (your challenges, persecutions, etc) to God in prayer! When we do this, Bible guarantees us of perfect peace! (Phil. 4:6, 7).

So now you know: your pains are needless. The unrest in your mind and soul is unnecessary. Your frequent tears/sorrows are uncalled for. Rise up! Brace yourself today to cause changes in your life through the power of prayer. Hannah, Zacharias (Elisabeth’s wife) and many others received answers to their prayers (1 Sam. 1:1 – 20; Lk. 1:13 – 17). You can receive yours today. God has been waiting for you: do it now!

Prayer & Confessions  (pray out loudly)

Thank you Lord for the privilege of carrying all my concerns to you in prayer. Right now, I cast all my care on you Lord. Therefore from henceforth, I live a worry-free life in the name of Jesus. Indeed,  I’ve a great life for greater is He that is in me than he (the challenges, troubles, persecution, difficulties, etc.) that is in the world (1 Jn. 4:4). I’m blessed and happy. Praise God!
